Watch Law and Order: Special Victims Unit S11E17: Disabled
The team will now go and investigate the case of a former opera star, Cara Benson, who got struck by a disabling disease is found raped and beaten. Though the victims condition makes her unable to speak, the investigators deduce that someone close to the victim is the one responsible and with that, the prime suspects are the resentful sister and the troublesome son of hers. As the investigation progresses it becomes clear that the woman is a victim of chronic abuse, which made the team widen their investigation to include assisted living business who've been entrusted with her health and safety.
The series' 17th episode of the season was aired 03/23/2010 Wednesday at 9:00 pm on NBC.
