Sledge is now being sent to train for battle in Camp Elliot after he got listed now as a marine. The 1st Marine Corps has been sent out to battle the Japanese who have been holding the island off New Britain called Cape Gloucester. The marines not only fighting the Japanese but also a greater enemy which is the jungle terrain. Leckie who has survived Camp Gloucester battle is now starting to show some distinct effect of combat and is now needed to be treated in a naval psychiatric hospital.
The latest episode of The Pacific is the 4th installment of the season that aired last 04/04/2010 Sunday at 9:00 PM on HBO.
