When the Japanese made their surrender, everyone now gets to go home and get back to living their lives as they were before. Leckie comes back home after he left the hospital when his wounds have healed properly and is now trying to adjust back to his old life by getting his pre-war job back and beginning a new found relationship, while Sledge goes back to his home town in Alabama to be reunited with his family but he is now having a hard time dealing with the reality that he have survived the war without a scratch and his udjustment back to normal life is hindered by it. Meanwhile, Lena gives an emotional visit to Basilone's home and now gets to meet his family too.
The latest episode of The Pacific is the mini series' 10th part that aired last 05/16/2010 Sunday at 9:00 PM on HBO.
