Alaric gets an unexpected surprise when Isobel comes back to town and is now demanding to meet with Elena. When mother and daughter now coming face to face, most of Elena's questions were being dodge by Isobel, but she didn't hesitate to reveal that she is also in search for the mysterious invention of Johnathan Gilbert and she will stop at nothing to get a hold of it.
