In the middle of an operation, Cristina suddenly experiences a post traumatic stress disorder. Meredith, after many weeks of hiding that she was pregnant and had a miscarriage, now tells Derek about it and is now being cleared to go back and perform her surgical duties in the height of the hospital shooting. Alex is being stopped by Bailey to do an operation, unless he agrees to have his own operation to remove a bullet in his chest.
