American Idol S9 E6: "Dallas, TX Audition"
American Idol started as a spin-off of Pop Idol, a U.K. show with the same general format and also featured Simon Cowell as a judge. It has since emerged as top hit TV series in its own rank, propelling FOX to the top of TV rankings, inspiring other various merchandise, and launching the careers of many you vocal talents. This series also lead to a short-lived spin-off with younger singers called American Juniors.
